Architecture & Interior Design UCLA Continuing Education

UCLA Extension's Department of Engineering and Technology is authorized by the California Department of Public Health to operate as an Accreditation Agency for continuing education courses for Registered Environmental Health Specialists (REHS). Each of the core courses in this certificate program provides 36 hours of continuing education credit.

In order to earn the Certificate of Interior Design, all 18 courses must be completed with a recorded letter grade. A minimum GPA of 2.0 must be earned in order to fulfill the certificate requirement. Please note that a minimum 3.0 GPA must be earned to be considered for the Master of Interior Architecture degree program.

Certificate Program Duration. Certificate enrollment fees are valid and have a duration of 3 years. Full-time students can earn a certificate in as little as 3 quarters to one year, depending on the program. F1 visa students are generally provided a maximum of 6 quarters on their I-20 to complete their certificate program of study.
